The journey:
Discovering a Passion for IT
It all began when I was working as a purchasing assistant. In a twist of creativity, I stumbled upon Microsoft Access and ended up designing an entire purchasing system with just five databases. This unexpected dive into IT not only solved a problem when budget cuts loomed but also awakened my passion for technology and organization.
A Journey Across Continents
My path took me to the U.S., where I was heading for a DBA education but ended up pursuing a software engineering degree. Though I returned to Sweden before completing it, I had already discovered my knack for full-stack programming. From 2000 to 2003, I worked in the Software as a Service space before it was even a thing. Then the IT bubble burst and it was time for a change. I found myself gravitating towards more client-focused roles, leveraging technology to achieve results. I loved it.
From SharePoint awe to Consultancy
Then came SharePoint, or Tahoe as it was known back then. Its intricate capabilities hooked me, mirroring many features I’d once tried to code myself. It took a few years, and then I delved into the consulting world, working with a diverse range of clients—from international giants to local religious organizations. What I’ve learned is that everyone shares the same core needs: effective collaboration, document management, and ensuring technology serves the user and the business.
Launching Cloud 476
In 2019, I launched Cloud 476—symbolizing Microsoft 365 and its myriad of other considerations you need to be aware of. Here, it’s not just about tech; it’s about integrating it with our goals and personalities to achieve something more. I’ve delved into every aspect from requirements management to training and adoption, equipping myself to help clients truly leverage their technology.

Microsoft 365 has exploded in usage, which makes me happy. What makes me sad is not reaching everyone fast enough. There’s a lot of frustration in the digital workplace, but we can improve and work more efficiently.
I decided to gather my best stuff, best models, best tips, and create a service and I am so excited to see where that is gonna go. The future promises more excitement, and I can’t wait to see where it takes us.
